Delete Your Kinlist Account

In the app (fastest)

• Open Kinlist and make sure you are signed in.
• Go to Settings.
• Tap Delete Account.
• Confirm. Your account is gone right away — there is no waiting period and no undo.

What gets deleted

• Your login and your profile, including your display name.
• Every household you created — along with all of its lists, items, and invite codes. If other people were members of a household you created, it is deleted for them too.
• Your membership in households other people created.

What stays

• Households created by someone else keep existing for that person and the remaining members. You are removed as a member; their lists are untouched.
• Items you added to someone else's household stay on their lists — the content belongs to the household, not to the person who typed it.
• Encrypted database backups may retain deleted records briefly before aging out on their normal schedule.

If you already deleted the app

You do not need to reinstall — but reinstalling and signing back in is the quickest route, since the in-app button does the deletion instantly.

Otherwise, email hello@meridiantechlabs.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Kinlist account deletion request”. We verify the request comes from the account holder and complete it within 30 days — usually much sooner. We will confirm by email when it is done.

We ask you to write from the address on the account because it is the only way to confirm the request is yours. If you signed in with Sign in with Apple's private relay, write from that relay address — it reaches us the same way.
