Kinlist Terms of Use
Last updated July 23, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Kinlist app, provided by Meridian Tech Labs LLC, a Texas limited liability company. Using Kinlist means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google and you are responsible for keeping access to that account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Kinlist. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
Your content is yours
Your lists and items belong to you and the household you share them with. We claim no ownership of them. We access them only as needed to operate the service — for example, to sync a change between two phones — or where you ask us to for support.
Shared households
Kinlist is a shared app, and sharing has consequences worth being explicit about:
- Everyone in a household can read, edit, and delete that household's lists and items — including things you added.
- Anyone with a valid invite code can join. Share codes only with people you want in your household.
- A household's owner can delete the household, which deletes its lists for every member.
- Deleting your account deletes the households you created, for everyone in them.
Acceptable use
Do not use Kinlist to:
- Break the law, or store content you have no right to store.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other members of a household.
- Attack, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service, or try to reach data belonging to households you are not a member of.
- Resell or redistribute the service.
We may suspend or remove accounts that do these things, and we will do so without much ceremony.
Availability, and the honest part
Kinlist is free, and it is a young product. It is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Do not use it as the only record of anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meridian Tech Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to Kinlist is limited to the amount you paid us for it — which, for a free app, is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms or the app, and may discontinue the service. If we change these terms materially we will update the date above. You can stop using Kinlist at any time by deleting your account. We may end your access if you break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
